Review: Biore Skin Boosting Night Serum

Alrighty, here we go! My first ever review! I thought id start the ball rolling with a review of a product I absolutly adore.

This product is part of Biores relitavly new line called "The Daily Recharging Collection". I have tried and own a few of the products in this line and overall, I have been pleased time and time again, and keep coming back. I would like to try the entire collection, but as Biore isnt exactly one of the cheepest drugstore lines, money is a bit of an issue for me. Once I find the cash though, rest assured, you will be seeing and reading more reviews on these products.

Taken from the Biore website, this stuff promises to: "Infuse your skin with powerful anitoxidants and vitamins A and C while you sleep - wake up feeling refreshed and beautiful. Biore RESTORE Skin-Boosting Night Serum incorperates soothing chamomile and aloe as well as rosemary, sage, and nettle extracts to help recharge the skin's appearance"

I recieved this products as a trial. It came with the Biore REFRESH Daily Cleansing Cloths (This review will be coming up soon), and gave me only a small sample. It came in a small squeeze packet containing only a quarter sized ammount, about enough for two or three applications. I tried it for two nights, and was sold. The next day, I went out and bought myself a full bottle.

It comes in an attractive mint green bottle with a pump for easy dispencing. The pump worked well, as I have never found it to clog, and it produces the perfect amount. I have found that two or three pumps works wonderfully for covering my entire face. While the bottle is small, it dosent exactly matter, due to the fact that so little is needed daily. This product lasts for a quite a while, perhaps two or three months, if not more.

I believe it retails for something around $6 Canadian, which is a moderate price for what amount they give you. Every penny is worth it, however.

When you pump it out of the bottle, it is a clear, slightly milky serum with a silky, somewhat thick texture. As you first rub it on your face, it feels a bit watery, but it dries within 15 seconds. While it is drying, it has a slight tacky feel, but once fully absorbed, your skin feels silky smooth and cool to the touch. This feeling lasts ALL night, and even long into the morning if you choose not to wash it off. I apply it to the entire face, with extra patted around and under my eyes. (There is a product in this line for undereyes, but I do not own it yet, so I make do with this serum)

Basically this product is like multi-vitamins for your skin. Over time, I have found that my skin looks much fresher, my tone is begining to even, and even my undereye circles have sloooowwwly begun to fade. I absolutly adore this stuff, and use it almost religiously. I also use this as a pre-makeup primer, under my usual daily moisturizer. It fills in the pores nicely, and makes your skin a smooth canvas for foundation and concealer.

Overall, I give this product 9 points out of a possible 10, only one point deducted for the high price for such a small amount given (I know someone is going to disagree with me on this, but hey, what can I say? I don't have that much spending money.. so im very picky about what I spend it on)

Until my Next Review, Stay Beautiful!

First Blog! Horray!

Hello Everyone,

So for the longest time ive been wanting to start a make-up tutorial/review blog thing, but I just haven't been able to find the time. I have a bit of spare time for the next few months, so I thought this would be as good a time as ever. Unfortunatly, as I don't have a camera, it will be a little difficult to upload pictures and such.. you're going to be seeing alot of google'd pictures for a while, until I can rake in some cash. Haha, good luck, self.. (stupid.. lazy self)

But anyway, I will be starting a few reviews on my favorite products over the next few days, and perhaps upload some how-to's and such later on, probably on the weekend if I don't have plans.

Oh, and just a heads up, if you see alot of veery late night posting *notice the posting time... cough* please don't be too alarmed. I happen to be a raging insomniac, its rare I fall asleep at all before three on a weeknight.. don't even get me started on weekends, sheesh.

Well, thats all for now. Ill be posting my first review fairly soon, either tonight or tomorrow night.

Until then, Stay Beautiful <3
